And yes, that's a song title too. Dinah Washington no less..
A (very lovely) client sent me a picture of an amazing pair of boots she'd bought that were a total bargain (around £14) and we got chatting about all things bargainous we'd been buying recently.
With the ever looming 'C' word (I will not mention it until December!) and potential work events, parties, family do's and presents to buy I thought I'd share some of my favourites that won't break the bank.
First up we have a few items from 'Everything Under 5 Pounds' (genuinely, it all is!).
This black boyfriend duster coat is just £5! It's not going to provide you with much warmth, but great over a warm knit or sweater dress.
These metallic high tops are in their sale and are just £2.50 (were £5).
One for the body confident, but this white frilled scuba bodycon dress is also just £2.50 (was £5).
Upping the price slightly, (but completely worth it) this beautiful bling front top handle crossbody bag in mustard is from Very.co.uk is £30 and looks a lot more expensive and luxurious than the price tag.
There's an air of Soru Jewellery earrings about these (which are very much on my C-word list, but that's another blog post!), but this sparkly drop hoop pair are from River Island via Very.co.uk and are £10.
This jumper dress from Stradivarius is £ 29.99, but the pearl detail on the shoulders ensure it's not going to look like every other jumper dress out there. Love this one!
I'm a fan of bright pink and these satin slingback kitten heels from New Look are now £14.99 (were £19.99). I have a few pairs of shoes from New Look and they are ridiculously comfortable. I often wear a pair of flats for dog walking (which is stupid and I don't advise it as they are now ruined!) and they don't rub as I powerwalk around the park (I don't really, I don't understand how they do that 'wiggle walk', it's a real skill).
The neckline on this ruffle striped sweater from Mango is gorgeous! Now £19.99 (was £25.99).
Very pretty crystal applique t-shirt from Mango, £12.99 (was £17.99).
You can't go wrong with Zara's 'special prices' and this printed top ticks the boxes for me - leopard print and just £7.99!
That's just a small selection of some of my favourites, but do let me know where you've been finding your bargains lately - it's good to share! I'm also pulling together some gift ideas and beauty favourites for future posts, so get in touch with any requests.
