A 1995 classic, which I always think doesn't sound that long ago, but it was actually 22 years. How has that happened?!
So with just five in mind these are my top five favourite sale picks. I'm a little over the sales already (I know, I realise there are lots of bargains to be had but I'm so shallow I like to see what's new!), so thought I'd select just a handful of the items I would snap up if I wasn't trying to spend less.
First up are these Golden Goose deluxe sneakers, (trainers to you and I) via Net-a-Porter which have a pretty fantastic 40% off at Net-a-Porter, £195 (were £325). I realise that's still potentially pricey for a pair of trainers, however these are going to take you right through the spring, summer and into autumn and work with everything - jeans, dresses and great skirts!
It's Zara, it's hot pink and an oversized jumper, yes please. This lovely roll neck sweater with textured pockets is now £29.99 (was £49.99).
Serious investment time, but in my opinion definitely worth it. It's a classic shade and a really flattering shape. This Zimmerman silk dress in french navy is now £225 (was £375). Beautiful.
If you didn't get the obligatory pair of slippers for Christmas then have a look at Hobbs who have the cosiest metallic pair I've seen! Their Robyn slipper is now just £19 (was £29) and will smarten up your PJ's when you're frantically dragging the bins out while the binmen watch because you forgot the night before (just, me?).
French Connection dresses are seriously gorgeous and this Celia mix v neck floral maxi dress makes a real statement, now £129 (was £185).
If you're not sure if maxi is the right length for you, then have a good look in their sale as they genuinely have some of the loveliest coats and dresses on offer.
As always feel free to leave comments or get in touch with any ideas or suggestions for posts you'd like to see.
I'm off to go and buy those slippers (bin day tomorrow).
