Menopause & Style

Following my recent article in The Telegraph about dressing for menopause, I wanted to include a range of items within the blog that could be useful if you're struggling with your body temperature.

I'm now on HRT and so my body temperature is a more normal level! However, before this I struggled on for years with it veering between ice cold and lava hot, so I definitely worked out how to dress to help me when a hot flush would strike!

I hope this proves useful for you too if you're unable to take HRT (I know many of you got in touch with me about this) or if you're experiencing symptoms and just want ideas for layering pieces that you can strip off when required!

I'll continue to add to this edit, so do refer back to see the additions.

First up, the GoWeave slip dress in silk from Everlane, £69, perfect for layering under other dresses or skirts.

I found I regularly was sat in my vest top! So upgraded my old, seen-better days pieces, and added a couple of smarter options. This Weekday Teresa tank top, £12 is made from a Tencell / Lyocell blend. They have such a great range of vest tops that you could have one in every style and colour to change up outfits - I love their Stella and their Vida one-shoulder top.
