My favourite colour for clothes (and not because I'm married to a Scouser and we're both Liverpool fans or the fact I support the Welsh rugby team - thanks mum!). It's just such a great colour that I believe suits everyone.
I've tracked down some great options, whether you're not a fan but would like to try wearing red for the first time (you genuinely can wear this, no matter what you 'think' you should wear colour-wise), or if like me, you're a reds supporter too!
First up, this balloon sleeve roll neck jumper from TopShop, £39.00. Oversized, looks comfy and cosy and ticks the boxes for me!
Or this frilled knitted jumper from H&M, £34.99. They had a lovely cashmere blend oversized jumper too but it's completely sold out.
Or this from Miss Selfridge, £35.00. Another oversized cosy knit.
Red with a splash of pink from Hush, Big Love jumper £130. I could gladly remortgage my house and spend a lot of money here at Hush..
H&M are the place to be for red though. This wool coat is gorgeous, £99.99
Similar to a Ted Baker version I have but a fraction of the cost (sorry Ted Baker!).
Or what about a red leather biker jacket, this one from Marks & Spencer is an investment but a gorgeous colour, £249.
Oh I love this rouched sleeve blazer-come-jacket from Warehouse, £59.
And this bonded swing coat also from Warehouse, £89 (part of their range with the frighteningly gorgeous Pandora Sykes).
This contrasting edge red shirt from M&S would look amazing with jeans, leather skirt or suit trousers, £25.
A triple tiered flute sleeve from New Look, £14.99. Limited sizes though!
Sizes selling out fast in this one but no surprise, this is a great jumpsuit from H&M, £34.99.
This looks fantastic with ankle boots, a good transitional dress for autumn from AND/OR at John Lewis, £95.
Pretty, but running out of sizes is this skater dress from Oasis via John Lewis, £48.
I'm loving this on the model, but in all honesty I'd have to breathe in all day and who in their right mind could be arsed? Mango jersey bodycon dress, £29.99.
Diluting the bright red slightly but this pleated floral dress from Mango is worth including, £119.99.
These are just a perfect dressy ankle boot, kitten heel, straps, pearls, the Sparky from Kurt Geiger, £179.
A more muted red boot from Zara, £129.
Great colour, great heel height, great price - ankle boots from Zara, £25.99
So here's my red outfit from the other day (ignore the sunglasses, it was actually a nice day and I was squinting away while my girl took the pic so plonked those on). I've been living in this top from Boden and it's one that works with jeans and dressed up too. Always good if I can get my girl to school, walk the fluffy pup and then head out for meetings after literally changing shoes and/or jeans.
Top - Boden
Skirt - Boden (old, but their 'Martha' skirt is a similar fit)
Plus they have 20% off at the moment if you're quick using the code NF86.
